CHRIS EUBANK JR vowed to give Conor Benn a beating that will echo down the ages.
Thirty five years ago his father did it to the 29-year-old’s dad Nigel.
And now the 36-year-old Brighton man has promised to top his April points win with a vicious stoppage inside the 12 rounds.
And he reckons fans will be still be purring over it in 2035.
After weighing in at 159.1lb Eubank said: “Feeling good ,everything is on track for a Chris Eubank Jr KO win.
“This is what I love to do, this is my life. I’m not excited, this is who I am as a human being, as a man. I was born, I was bred to fight.
“And I cannot wait to go out there and show the world what I’m made of once again.
“The first fight was a fight-of-the-year contender. This one will be fight of the decade contender.”
Eubank was fined £375,000 when he missed the 160lb middleweight limit by an agonising 0.05lb – the equivalent of a single battery – last time around.
But ahead of Saturday’s rematch – live on DAZN PPV – Eubank successfully made the weight scaling 159.1lb.

Benn – a natural 147lb welterweight – was only 156lb earlier in the year.
But he actually came in HEAVIER than Eubank – tipping the scales at a career-biggest 159.4lb.
And he said: “I’m excited to get in there and put on a show for the supporters.”
The work is not done yet, though, with both men restricted to a 10lb rehydration clause for tomorrow’s additional weigh in.
It means if either are over the 170lb cap, they will also face a fine – believed to be £100,000 per lb over.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed when the pair stepped out for the unofficial and ceremonial weigh-in – the scales were actually switched on.
And it made for fascinating reading, with Benn heavier at 167lb and Eubank just 165lb.
