A MAJOR motorway has severe delays as the emergency services tackle a lorry fire and close two lanes during rush hour.
The M4 eastbound has two lanes closed between junction 15 for Swindon and junction 14 for Hungerford.
Wiltshire Fire is on the scene and the carriageway has been closed.
National Highways proposed the following diversion routes: “Exit the M4 eastbound at J15 and turn left at the roundabout to join the A419 northbound.
“At the Commonhead Roundabout, take the 4th exit and join the B4192 Purley Road southbound.
“Continue on the B4192 southbound towards Eddington for approx 13 miles via Aldbourne. Avoiding Hungerford town centre.
“At the junction of the B4192 with Charnham Park, turn left and continue to the A4 roundabout.
“Take the 1st exit at the roundabout joining the A338.
“Follow the A338 for approx 3 miles to re-join the M4 at J14.
