MIDDLESBROUGH boss Rob Edwards will be absent from today’s match against Birmingham.
He has been heavily linked to the vacant managerial position at Wolves.

Edwards’ pre-match press conference on Friday was cancelled.
Boro rejected an approach from Wolves to speak to Edwards on Thursday, yet he also failed to take training the following day.
The club have now decided he will not take charge for today’s visit of Birmingham.
It is a key match for Middlesbrough after they slipped out of the top two in the Championship in recent weeks.
A win could see them regain second spot if Stoke fail to win against league leaders Coventry.
And they face a rampant Birmingham side who have won three of their last four games, beating Portsmouth and Millwall both 4-0 in their previous two.
