We know that Spurs have been useless at home in the Premier League this season. 

The Lilywhites have picked up just four points from five matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The latest calamity was a 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea last Saturday evening. 

Manchester United also dropped points last weekend. Despite leading at half-time, they had to come from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest. 

The Red Devils have picked up ten points from their previous four Premier League matches and are unbeaten since Matchday 6, when they lost 3-1 away to Brentford.

The bottom line is that Spurs will pick up a result at home soon. However, we still can’t trust either side, so both teams to score looks the safest wager.

Everton vs Fulham – Everton to win (13/10)

Everton were woeful in their last home match against Spurs, and if truth be told, they weren’t great against Sunderland on Monday either. 

However, despite the Toffees being very poor at the Stadium of Light, had they taken another of their many early chances when 1-0 up, they probably would have left the north east with all three points.

Only Spurs have left the Hill Dickinson Stadium with all three points this season, with David Moyes’ team registering wins over Brighton and Crystal Palace. 

And despite Aston Villa and West Ham leaving with draws, we can’t see a Fulham team who have lost four from five in the top flight this season even claiming a point.

Sunderland vs Arsenal – Arsenal to win (2/5)

Arsenal are now churning out results like a machine. The Gunners are on a ten match winning streak in all competitions, and probably more because of Liverpool’s latest woes, their remarkable run has gone slightly under the radar. 

Sunderland will begin the Matchday fourth in the table on 18 points. Do the Black Cats dare to look upwards, or are they just approaching the halfway point to the 40 points widely considered enough for Premier League survival?”

Either way, Regis Le Bris’ team are playing extremely well at the moment, thanks in no small part to former Gunner Granit Xhaka, who has been described as the signing of the season by some.

Surely Xhaka and company can’t derail Arsenal’s title charge?  It would take a brave punter to back against the Gunners. They look to be playing too well at the moment.

Chelsea vs Wolves – Chelsea to win and over 1.5 goals (4/6)

Chelsea are very inconsistent. They have won six of their last eight in all competitions. But nestled between some stunning wins was a 2-1 home defeat to Sunderland and last Wednesday’s 2-2 draw away at Qarabag in the Champions League.

Wolves are in desperate trouble. Just weeks after handing Vitor Pereira a new three-year contract, the club sacked the Portuguese in the wake of last Saturday’s 3-0 defeat away at Fulham.

With no new head coach likely to be in place before the weekend, it’s hard to see much changing and we expect to see another defeat for the Old Gold. 

Add over 1.5 goals to the wager to boost the odds. Even if they are below par after a lengthy Champions League trip to Azerbaijan on Wednesday, we can still see the Blues winning 2-0 at the very least.

Brentford vs Newcastle – Both teams to score (6/10)

Brentford’s two-match winning streak came to an end with a 2-0 defeat away at Crystal Palace last weekend. 

Newcastle’s form on the road in the Premier League has been atrocious. If proof were needed, look at last weekend’s 3-1 loss away at West Ham.

The Magpies bounced back with an impressive 2-0 win over Athletic Club in the Champions League on Wednesday. They now sit sixth in that table.

However, unless Eddie Howe’s team can turn their domestic away form around, they won’t be in the Champions League again next season.

Against a Brentford team who have picked up an impressive ten points from five home matches, we can see an improved Newcastle getting on the scoresheet, but we can’t back them to win, or even keep a clean sheet.

Man City vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win or draw (5/6)

After their recent unbeaten run was ended by Aston Villa, Manchester City got back to winning ways in the Premier League last Sunday with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth. The Light Blues backed that up with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Liverpool, all of a sudden, have started to look the part again over the last few days. After a disastrous run that saw them win just one in seven in all competitions, the Reds have recorded back-to-back wins over Aston Villa (2-0) in the Premier League and Real Madrid in the Champions League (1-0).

Both wins were accompanied by good performances and it’s almost like the blip never happened. We can see Arne Slot’s team remaining unbeaten at the very least when they visit the Etihad.

What is an accumulator (acca) bet?

An accumulator bet – also known as an acca – is a single bet that includes multiple selections. An easy example of an acca would be if you place a bet on Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal all to win. 

If all your selections win, your bet is a winner. The downside to an acca is that your bet loses if only one leg lets you down. 

To work out how much you stand to win from an acca bet, you need to multiply the decimal odds of each leg together and then multiplying it by your stake.

A popular amount of teams for an accumulator bet is four or five. A theoretical bet on a 5-fold acca could look like this: 

• Arsenal to win @ 1.80 (4/5)
• Brighton to win @ 2.20 (6/5)
• Everton to win @ 1.90 (10/11)
• Newcastle to win @ 1.73 (8/11)
• Burnley to win @ 2.40 (5/4)

Multiply the five bets: 1.80 x 2.20 x 1.90 x 1.73 x 2.40 = 31.23. The end result is combined odds of 31.23, which is just over 30/1 in fractional. For a one pound wager, you would get back £31.23. For a tenner, you would get back £312.39.

An accumulator can include as many selections as you want. For example, you can play safe with two picks, or you can go for a big win and have ten. 

The more teams you pick, the better your winnings will be. However, you are also more likely to lose with more selections, as you remember, only one team has to let you down.

A two team accumulator can also be simply known as a double, while a three team acca can be called a treble. They are just different names for the same bet. Some examples follow:
