A paternity suit filed against Jay-Z was officially dismissed with prejudice in California on Tuesday.
A woman named Lillie Coley told the court she is the godmother and legal guardian of a man named Rymir Satterthwaite.
Coley said Satterthwaite, who is in his early 30s, was fathered by the the rap icon, 55, ‘in the mid-1990s with a woman named Wanda Satterthwaite,’ who died in 2019.
Coley said the late Wanda Satterthwaite had spent almost 20 years trying to have courts in New Jersey in Pennsylvania establish Jay-Z’s paternity of Rymir Satterthwaite in domestic relations litigation, according to legal docs.
But the litigation came to an end with Wednesday’s order from the court.
‘The Court has read and considered the motion [to dismiss the case] and concluded that it is suitable for decision without oral argument,’ said a judge for the United States District Court – Central District Of California.
Daily Mail reached out to representatives for Jay-Z for comment and has yet to hear back.

Wanda Satterthwaite previously said in a sworn affidavit that she and the Hard Knock Life artist had been involved romantically in the autumn of 1992, using protection that failed when they consumated the romance.
Wanda Satterthwaite said she gave birth to Rymir in July 1993, according to legal docs.
Rymir Satterthwaite told Daily Mail last December that he wanted the Empire State Of Mind artist, who is wed to fellow music superstar Beyoncé, 44, to take a paternity test.
‘I really want to resolve this,’ Satterthwaite said. ‘I want to resolve this and get this matter done. I really do.
He added: ‘I don’t want any money. I just want the truth.’
Satterthwaite addressed the entertainer directly and said, ‘Honestly, I don’t got nothing against you. I just feel like we could get this resolved. I was never chasing you.’
Satterthwaite added, ‘I was never chasing you for fame. I just really want to resolve this. I just want to resolve this and get this matter done.’
Satterthwaite stressed that ‘this could all be done with one simple test’ – and he really wanted the situation to conclude.

‘I just really want it over with. It is something that is really affecting my life and I just want it over with.
He added: ‘My mom passed away during this case and I really feel like I have unfinished business.’
