THEY’RE one of the most controversial age gap couples on TikTok.
And now Cheryl McGregor, 64, has hit back at mean trolls who reckon her hubby, Quran McCain, 27, was ”hypnotised” to tie the knot.
The gran, who has a whopping 18 grandchildren, met Quran when he was just 15.
However, Cheryl maintains that nothing happened between them at the time, and eight years later, the couple met again and fell in love.
The pair have been vocal about their unconventional relationship, which has come not just with three failed pregnancies but also vile backlash from online trolls.
Despite feeling ”sexy” and still rocking hot pants and skimpy dresses, the nan-of-18 has faced a barrage of abuse by haters on TikTok.

”Yes, I know what I look like,” said the 64-year-old who jokingly compared herself to ”a raisin”.
”I see the comments, I hear the jokes – ‘She’s too old, she’s his grandma’,” she said in a recent video posted on the couple’s page.
According to Cheryl, who was trying for a baby via a surrogate last year, some trolls have even gone as far as claiming her husband is signalling for help in their videos.
”He blinked twice – save him,” the gran read some of the comments.
Hitting back in the best possible way, Cheryl proved that she and her toyboy don’t care what the naysayers think about their age-gap marriage.
”Y’all really think I haven’t heard it all.
”Let me tell you something… I’m 64 and I’m in love with a 27-year-old man who treats me better than anyone my age ever did.
Despite the 37-year age gap, the mum-of-seven feels like Quran is not only her hubby – but also her best pal.
”No, he’s not being forced, he’s not hypnotised – he loves me and I love him,” she said in the clip.
”People say it’s weird – but what’s really weird is how mad folks get when they see someone happy.”
Cheryl and Quran’s relationship timeline
CHERYL and husband Quran Mccain have a whopping 37 year age gap between them.
The nan-of-17 first met Quran when he was aged 15 and working at a fast food restaurant managed by her son.
Their relationship blossomed a few years later and they tied the knot in September 2021.
Since the wedding, the pair have been open about their desire to start a family of their own – despite Cheryl already having seven children in their thirties and forties.
After three failed surrogacy attempts but are now expecting a baby girl, who is due later this year on December 27th.
SURROGACY DRAMA
Because of Cheryl’s age she is unable to conceive naturally – leading the pair who are desperate to complete their family to turn to other methods.
The pair revealed last year they would be going down the surrogacy route and had found a woman who was willing to carry the child after three failed attempts.
The couple were expecting a baby girl, who was due later in December 27th, 2025.
“Our surrogate is incarcerated and now our baby has a second chance at life”, Cheryl said.
Cheryl and Quran went on to explain that their surrogate was battling drug addiction, something they didn’t know when they asked her to carry their baby.
Quran said: “It’s not good that our baby is in this situation, because we weren’t prepared for the circumstances that came with the surrogate we chose.
“We take accountability for that”.

Cheryl was unable to use her own eggs so the baby would have been conceived with the surrogates egg and Quran’s semen.
But the heartbroken nan, 63 at the time, provided an update and the surrogacy hadn’t gone to plan.
Taking to TikTok, Cheryl said: “People are messaging me and wanting to know what’s going on.
”Well, the dates have not matched up from the beginning.”
Cheryl explained the baby conception date was March 5th – but there was no insemination from Quran until after March 12th.
This led the couple to believe the baby was someone else’s.
“She was with her boyfriend trying to tell us that they didn’t have sex, and I was trying to tell my husband that is wrong,” she said.
“So I got tired of all this and her saying that the baby’s his and using his feelings and stuff for it.”
Quran and Cheryl decided the only thing to do was get the surrogate to do a DNA test which they paid for and she agreed to.
But when the day came, the surrogate ‘made up every excuse under the book not to be able to come.’
“So what does that tell us? That’s not our baby,” said a defeated Cheryl.
“My husband is not the baby daddy.
“I’m sorry to say that, but it’s been a blessing, because this has been one hell of a messed up journey.”

Hundreds flooded to comment under the clip, which has been viewed more than 161k times.
One person said: ”He is your man. Not theirs. Enjoy your happiness.”
Someone else agreed, writing: ”She doesn’t deserve this type of hate.”
”Who cares if your happy that’s all that matters!” a third reminded.
