A young boy has been stabbed to death in front of around 100 teens outside a New York home during a chaotic house party.
Liam Delemo, 15, of West Babylon, was at a home in Carlton Road in Long Island on Carlton Road Monday night with 90 to 100 other teens when the gathering quickly spiraled out of control, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
Shortly before 10.30pm a violent fight erupted outside among the teens and Delemo was stabbed during the ensuing mayhem.
He was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead just weeks before his 16th birthday.
Neighbors watched in shock as the party went haywire, with scores of teens pouring into the yard and breaking part of the fence while trying to escape the bloody scene, according to News 12 Long Island.
Nobody has yet been arrested on suspicion of the stabbing. Bonnie Miranda, 70, the homeowner, was held on Tuesday evening over the claim she allowed underage drinking to take place at her home.
Miranda, a Century 21 associate broker, is accused of allowing her grandson to throw the party, according to ABC 7 NY.
She was taken into custody for violating Suffolk County’s Social Host Law, which forbids anyone over 18 from knowingly allowing minors to consume alcohol on property they own, rent or control.

The law also holds adults accountable if they fail to take reasonable action – like ordering a minor to stop drinking or leave – once they learn underage drinking is happening.
While it is unclear whether alcohol played a role in the deadly brawl, Miranda was arrested for allowing hundreds of underage high schoolers to party at her home.
She has also been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, with the victim being Delemo, according to the outlet.
Michael Delemo, the teen’s father, is now desperately pleading with partygoers to come forward and tell authorities what they witnessed in hopes of bringing his son’s killer to justice.
‘”If I tell on somebody I’m a rat” and all this other stuff… that goes out the window. My son’s dead,’ he told ABC News.
In a heartbreaking memory, Delemo’s father recalled his last moment with his 11th-grade son.
‘I always tell same thing, “be careful” and he said “I will” and of course I told him I loved him,’ he told the outlet.
Hope Wilsun-Delemo, the boy’s mother, shared a Facebook post on Monday, including a photo of her son dressed in a sharp suit.
