TECH: Forgotten phones and electronics gathering dust could be worth a pretty penny, even models long outdated.
BlackBerrys and Nokia phones are a blast from the past but will sell for an average of £30, according to second-hand selling site Gumtree.

Old games consoles will also fetch a decent sum with PlayStations 1 and 2 typically worth £45.
TOYS: Old toys from the ’80s and ’90s can now sell for big bucks if you have some boxed away in your loft or attic.

People will also pay for old Furby toys, Tamagotchis, Polly Pocket and Bratz dolls on selling site eBay.
OLD COINS: Look through old purses or money boxes for rare coins, which can sell for thousands on eBay.
