THREE ON THURSDAY (3.40 Lingfield, nap)
He hasn’t so much been knocking on the door but hammering on it since joining Tony Carroll earlier this year. He made his all-weather handicap debut at Lingfield last time and finished like a train only for the line to come a few strides too soon. He stays over the same mile trip here and hopefully he’ll start his challenge a little earlier this time.
GO WEST (2.02 Warwick, nb)
He did well over hurdles but has always looked like a chaser in the making. He goes over fences for the first time here.
BELLA PERLA (1.40 Lingfield, treble)
Has won two of her past three including over this course and distance last time out. The Crisfords are still in good form.
KNIGHT OF MAGIC (2.52 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15)
Was just a length off the pace here last week and is back from the same mark. This step up in distance looks a wise move by trainer James Owen who hasn’t had him for very long.
