A TEENAGER walked into the homes of two 89-year-old women and sexually abused them after claiming to be a therapist.
Jimmy Tawse, 18, also posed as a masseuse and a window cleaner to gain access to his four vulnerable victims in their own homes.
The depraved teen, from Gorseinon in Swansea, targeted two 89-year-old women who lived alone on May 15 this year.
He walked straight into the first victim’s house at 11.30am and told her he was a therapist.
Tawse made her go into her bedroom, remove her top and bra, before sexually assaulting her.
After groping her breasts, thighs and touching her underwear, the sick 18-year-old said he was a sex therapist who had gone to the wrong house.
The victim said in a statement at Swansea Crown Court: “It has impacted me in an emotional way. I don’t want to leave the house and feel like people could be watching me in case I go out.
“I know he is in prison but I just feel like I might see him again. I blame myself for this happening to me. I used to go for walks regularly but now I keep myself to myself because I am worried I will see him again.”
After attacking her, Tawse drove to his second victim’s home – another 89-year-old woman.
He told her he was a masseuse who was sent by her GP, which she believed as she’d been waiting for a physio appointment.
Tawse pretended his name was John and instructed her to go to the bedroom.
Again he told his victim to take off her shirt, but she refused as the problem was with her leg.
The twisted teenager told his victim it was a “body to body” massage, and put pressure on her by claiming that he’d travelled a long way.
The 89-year-old again refused and he left.
In a victim impact statement read to the court she said: “My confidence has been knocked massively. I’m lucky if I get two hours sleep but before this incident I was okay.
“I rely a lot on my family. I feel anger at what happened. I have been off my food and lost weight because of this. It has had a terrible impact on me.”
Then on June 20, Tawse lied and said he was a window cleaner in order to target an 85-year-old woman.
He asked her for £55 and asked if she would touch him inappropriately before she handed over the money and Tawse left.
The following day, the vile 18-year-old approached a housebound 63-year-old with mobility issues.
Tawse again posed as a massage therapist and she asked who it was for.
He said he wasn’t sure but the service cost £55 and “it would be a shame for it to go to waste”.
The 63-year-old said in a victim impact statement: “I would not have expected this to happen. I am in constant fear I will see him again as he now knows where I live.
“I don’t believe I deserve to be exploited by anyone and I can’t be comfortable in my own home.”
In an unrelated incident on February 16, cops were called to Tawse’s family home.
The teenager asked officers to take him into custody after an argument with his parents, to which his dad suggested he would have to “hit one of them”.
Tawse pushed an officer and was detained.
After the sexual assaults Tawse pleaded guilty to trespassing with intent to commit a sexual offence, sexual assault, fraud, and assault of an emergency worker.
Megan Williams, defending, told the court Tawse was 17 when he met the first two victims.
She told the court how it was his first time in custody and has been “productive” since he left school at 12 years old.
Judge Geraint Walters said: “They are very serious and concerning offences particularly in the case of a man as young as you. Very very troubling indeed.”
Tawse was sentenced to seven years in detention with the custodial part being four years.
The judge also ordered indefinite restraining orders for all the victims and ordered Tawse to register as a sex offender and be subject to a sexual harm prevention order.
