MAFS UK star Julia-Ruth has revealed she and show groom Divarni are no longer in touch after splitting during the experiment.
Julia-Ruth and Divarni decided to quit MAFS UK following a controversial time on the show, during which she lied about them being intimate.
Now she’s addressed the state of their relationship, confessing they don’t speak anymore.
When asked about Divarni in an Instagram Q&A, Julia-Ruth said: “Erm… No I don’t talk to Divarni. I think we’ve had a few little communication bits here and there like, ‘how are you? Are you ok?’
“And then we ran into each other at an event at Thorpe Park and it was very brief.
“I think you could see why we’re just not each other’s people so in real life it’s kind of the same thing as well.
“We don’t talk, we don’t follow each other on social media. It’s ok, it happens sometimes.”
Julia-Ruth and Divarni clashed on the show when she told their co-stars they’d not been intimate despite the former couple having sex.
And she added that her friendship with Davide had been affected when it came out that she’d been dishonest with him.
Julia-Ruth came under fire from fans for the lie, when Divarni revealed he was really upset and said: “The group think my marriage is a joke.
“She is spinning a narrative that is not true, but I know the truth. The truth is we have been having sex.
“She lied to the group, she lied to the experts.”
Julia-Roth was furious at him and accused him of outing them both but Divarni explained that he hadn’t told the group the truth.
She said: “I asked you not to say it on camera.”
He replied: “But I looked like a complete f***ing fool today. Taking all the blows.”
As they continued to argue Julia-Roth said: “You want me to sit on the couch and tell everyone the sex is s**t?”
Divarni snapped back: “I don’t give a f**k if you said it was shit, at least you are being true to yourself.”
