Liverpool Women star Mia Enderby stretchered off after suffering horror injury as match stopped for more than 10 minutes

LIVERPOOL Women star Mia Enderby has suffered a horror injury.

With the score 2-1 to Spurs in the final stages, Enderby went to ground following a 50-50 challenge with Amanda Nilden.

She appeared to land awkwardly, hitting her head on the ground as the referee allowed play to continue.

However, the match was stopped when the ball went out of play before physios rushed on.

Enderby, 20, received medical attention on the pitch for ten minutes.

The forward was then carried off on a stretcher.

Liverpool Women provided an update on X, writing: “There’s a long delay here as Mia Enderby receives treatment after a coming together.”
