Big Brother will have its first BACK-DOOR eviction next week.
The ITV reality show will see one if its contestants leave in an unorthodox way without a crowd or fanfare.
A source said: “It will be sly and shocking, but will certainly mix things up and keep viewers on their toes.
“The producers are being very creative this year and contestants have no idea what to expect.
“The backdoor eviction will strike mid week, when housemates least expect it.”
A normal eviction will ALSO take place on Friday as the series nears its final weeks.
It comes after Farida and Zelah were axed from the Big Brother house on Friday in a double elimination leaving housemates stunned.
Walking out with a smile on her face, Farida declared: “Are you ready for the tea?”
She said: “I’m so happy to be out but I had the most amazing time.”
Next out was Zelah who, after hearing some boos, said: “I don’t think they like me”.
He told hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu: “I don’t know what to say.
“I’ve forgotten how to speak.”
Following Zelah’s departure, fellow housemate Emily shared a theory for why he may have been evicted.
Last year on Celebrity Big Brother, Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches was axed in secret.
His exit came as some of the cast received sweet messages from home.
Yet instead, he was treated to a visit from one of the Celebrity Big Brother hosts.
Host AJ Odudu told the star: “Bradley, your stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house is over, you must return to the house, say your goodbyes and leave immediately.”
It saw fans at the time contacting broadcasting watchdog Ofcom over the “cruel” proceedings.
Back in 2018, John Barnes left the CBB compound in a backdoor eviction after his fellow housemates chose to send him home.
Big Brother continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
