A WOMAN has died after a horror four-vehicle crash in a supermarket car park.
The fatal collision happened at a supermarket in Saltash, Cornwall on Thursday, police said.
Emergency services raced to the scene at 11.45am after reports of a crash at Waitrose.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a blue Volvo V40 was in a collision with a Suzuki Swift, a Ford Focus and a Mercedes Sprinter van which were all parked and unattended at the time.
The police, ambulance and air ambulance were all in attendance following the shocking crash.
Tragically, the driver of the Volvo, a 78-year-old woman from Saltash was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car park was sealed off while officers could investigate and they are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident.
