Trolls call mum ‘disgusting’ for toddler’s Pot Noodle breakfast as parents slate her ‘sad excuse’ & say ‘do your job’

A MOTHER has found herself attacked by trolls after giving her toddler a Pot Noodle for breakfast. 

Imogen Micheala Dixon, a mother from the UK who claimed that her “whole personality” is her kids, confirmed that recently, she picked her battles and gave her son a pot of instant noodles first thing in the morning.

Rather than argue with her child over what he would eat, the content creator confirmed that she “didn’t have it” in her to be “screamed at,” hence the quick and easy meal choice.

But Imogen has since been slammed by keyboard warriors and labelled as “disgusting” for giving her tot the salty noodles

Not only this, but parents have slated Imogen’s “poor effort” and “sad excuse” to serve up the unhealthy noodles and was told her to “do her job.” 

And that’s not all, as another furious mother even blasted Imogen as a “bad” mum for the controversial breakfast choice.

It comes after Imogen took to social media to show off the lazy breakfast she served her son, which left many totally gobsmacked. 

As the young boy sat on the kitchen counter in striped pyjamas, the mother was seen sighing as she held his Pot Noodle.

Whilst still in her dressing gown, Imogen momentarily shut her eyes and then gave her son praise as he dug into the Chicken & Mushroom flavoured dish. 

During the clip, viewers saw Imogen’s son repeatedly digging a fork into the Pot Noodle.

Alongside the video, the mother wrote: “Am I letting my toddler have a Pot Noodle for breakfast because it’s 7am and I don’t have it in me to be screamed at this early in the morning yet…”

She then continued: “Yes, yes I am.”

Huge divide

But Imogen’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @imogennmichealaa, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 154,800 views in just one day. 

Social media users were left totally divided by Imogen’s son’s breakfast – while some could relate and didn’t see a problem, not everyone was as kind.

One mum wrote: “He’s happy, he’s eating… it’s a win.” 

A second agreed: “I’m with ya gal lol. Mine had a bowl of cheese this morning.”

Meanwhile, one parent acknowledged: “We’ve all been there, don’t worry about it.”

It can be infuriating, as well as worrying, when you’ve got a fussy child. Trust me, I know, I’ve got two of them! But there are some tips the NHS suggest that I’ve found helpful.
The first is not to worry about what your child does or doesn’t eat in a day. Think about a week instead, and see if their intake is balanced and healthy.
“If your child is active and gaining weight, and they seem well, then they’re getting enough to eat,” the NHS says on their website.
You should aim to include food from the four main food groups for your child – fruits and vegetables, starchy carbs, dairy and protein.
If they don’t seem to like a food the first time you offer it, don’t give up. According to research, it takes between eight and 15 times of offering the food before they will actually like it.
Try to eat with your child, and eat the same food. If they see you tucking in, they’re more likely to do so themselves.
Don’t overload their plate – you can always add more if they clear it, but having one loaded with food can often seem overwhelming.
Another thing to remember is not to overload kids with snacks. Two healthy snacks per day is “plenty”, according to NHS guidelines.
Something else I’ve found useful is to get your kids involved in the cooking process. My daughter has been much more willing to try new food if she’s made it herself.”

But at the same time, one furious mum slammed: “Well find the patience, that’s no excuse! That’s disgusting actually.

“I’m heavily pregnant and I have an extremely autistic 3 year old, do you think I can be a***d with the mood swings and temper tantrums? Along with getting 3 hours of broken sleep a night because she’s never slept since the day she was born? Can I f**k but my child’s health is more important to me clearly.

“You’re a mum now so pull your finger out and do your job properly! Yes we have bad days but we still carry on and do our best and letting your child have a Pot Noddle for breakfast is wrong.

Not only this, but another simply added: “Erm..no. As if.”

Whilst someone else commented: “There’s arguably 100’s of items to give your kids for food in the morning.
