A WOMAN who made £250 in just 24 hours on Vinted, has shared her top tips for making sales.
Vinted is an online marketplace where people can buy and sell second hand clothes, shoes and accessories.

It’s completely free to upload clothes to the app and Vinted does not take a cut of sellers’ profits and instead charges buyers a small fee to purchase each item.
Chloe Chandler, is a Vinted whizz and has made over £5,000 from flogging clothes on the app, including £250 in just one day.
“These are proper old school Vinted tips that have helped me”, she said.
1. Upload on Sundays
According to Chloe, the best day of the week to flog your old clothes is Sunday.
“People are just chilling at home, they have time to go on their phone”, she said.
Chloe revealed that she posted some items at 2pm on Sunday and by the end of the day they had all sold.
She added that uploading on payday weekends is the perfect time, as people have more cash to spend.
2. Send Messages and Offers
Chloe revealed that Vinted has recently updated its terms and conditions, so you can no longer message people en masse.
However, she said that it is still a good idea to message people here and there to send them offers.
“I send the offer and then a little message and results in a sale quite a lot of the time”, she said.
3. Bundles
If you have lots of items you want to shift, selling them in bundles is a great idea, as it encourages people to buy more.
“I do this with tops, jeans, things like that, if they’re all the same size”, she said.
To increase your chance of selling a bundle, make sure you’ve got all the items in the photo, so people know what they’re getting.
4. Photos
Chloe revealed that she used to lay her clothes flat on a blanket to take photos of them; however, she now hangs them up, which she said works “extremely well”.
“Hanging them up on the back of a door has really helped”, she said.
She added that you should also take around 5 to 10 photos of each item, and make sure to take pictures in bright daylight.
5. Descriptions
To boost her chance of making sales, Chloe uses AI to write her descriptions for her.
“You need to say what size it is, any features, how many times you’ve worn it, and if you ask AI to do this for you, it makes your life so much easier.”
Chloe revealed that her items with AI descriptions sell so much better than those that don’t.
