REGIS LE BRIS has opened the door to Chelsea whizkid Marc Guiu returning to Sunderland in January.
The Black Cats snapped up the 19-year-old Spanish striker on a season-long loan in the summer but he only spent 26 days at the Stadium of Light.

Following an injury to Liam Delap, the Blues asked Sunderland to agree to terminate the deal, a request the North East club granted after they managed to bring in £17.5m Brian Brobbey as a replacement.
Guiu scored once in three Sunderland appearances but is now, after his midweek Champions League goal in Chelsea’s win over Ajax, looking to shoot down his old team at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
However, bizarrely he may find himself BACK in red and white come January if he starts to struggle for match action.
Fifa rules state a player can only represent two teams in one season, so should Enzo Maresca want him to go out for more experience, he only has one option.
Whether he would consider another move for Guiu, Le Bris: “Yeah, but too early to say. The problem with him is he played for Sunderland and played for Chelsea. So, if he has to go on loan, it’s only for Sunderland.
“So, it might be the only choice, but it’s up to us to decide. And at the minute we have good strikers and we don’t need anything at the minute.”
Despite only working with him a matter of weeks, Sunderland’s French coach developed a huge admiration for the teen.
And, worryingly for him, he believes they helped get Guiu firing on all cylinders.
He said: “I really liked the relationship with him. You can feel that he’s really coachable.

“He wants to learn, he wants to develop himself and he wants to connect with people. So, I really appreciated this part of his personality.
“But his fitness level wasn’t good at that moment. So, the main part was to give him the opportunity to train with the squad, work in the gym.
“And we worked for Chelsea because I believe that now he’s ready. But it wasn’t the case with us.
“He’s a really good footballer, really committed, complete forward, who can run in behind, hold the ball, defend really well and counter-press really strong. A good forward.”
