BIG Brother’s Caroline has landed in a potential race row after throwing alcohol at Muslim housemate Farida and moaning about eating halal meat.
The PR professional, 56, stirred the pot in Thursday night’s episode during the shopping task on board Flight 2025.
While messing around with fellow housemate Tate in the task, she began throwing alcohol across the makeshift aircraft.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited in Islam, and some of the booze ended up hitting Muslim housemate Farida, 52.
Later in the episode, Zelah approached Caroline about the incident and told her that a bit of the alcohol had got on her.
Caroline joked, “Did she drink it?”
Zelah replied, “No, she didn’t Caroline, but I saw her go like this, and I looked at her and went, ‘Are you okay?’ and she went, ‘No, no, it’s fine.”
Visibly fuming, she responded, “I can’t live my life not being able to play because someone doesn’t like it.”
Caroline then went into another rant, adding, “I had to eat, today, halal meat. Halal meat. That was all. Why is that fair?”
Confused, Zelah replied, “No one said you had to eat it.”
But Caroline fired back, “Well, no one said she had to have her face in the way when I was throwing a bit of alcohol.”
To which Zelah finished, “Me checking that she’s right isn’t the same as you eating halal meat. I don’t think that’s the same thing.”
Fans were fuming about the ordeal on social media, with former Big Brother housemate Dean Quinton saying, “Caroline needs to go.”
Another viewer wrote on Instagram, “Every day I think I can’t possibly get more annoyed with Caroline & then the First Look comes along.”
A third penned: “The fact that Caroline randomly brought up halal meat is very telling. Zelah is checking up was sweet.”
While a fourth said: “Caroline wouldn’t even have known she was eating halal meat if she wasn’t told ffs.”
A fifth added, “Zelah is so sweet for checking in on Farida and asking them to be careful.
“I’m sure Farida was uncomfortable with them throwing the alcohol around and it going on her, but she didn’t want to cause a scene and make it a big thing.”
While another wrote: “Everyone is so easily offended by everything.
“I love Caroline for keeping it real and being true to herself instead of people pleasing and tiptoeing around.”
“I agree with Caroline,” another viewer said on Instagram.
A second said, “This is why I love Caroline, she’s there to take the p**s and have fun others. Tate is the same way.
“Farida was okay, Zelah didn’t need to bring this up again and be that person.
“This is why people keep switching sides and supporting Caroline.
“As a proud, liberal ‘woke’ myself, I’m getting annoyed at the constant check-ins from that side of the house.”
