
FORMER England star Mick McNeil has sadly passed away at the age of 85.
The ex-footballer was best known for breaking into the Three Lions team while playing in the old Second Division for Middlesbrough.

McNeil died earlier this week and the news of his passing was confirmed by Boro on social media.
A statement read: “The club was saddened to learn of the passing of our former player Michael McNeil.
“Mick passed away earlier this week at the age of 85. Our thoughts go out to Mick’s family and friends.”
