A 20-YEAR-OLD footballer tragically died after crashing his motorbike into a cow.
Antony Ylano was riding home from his dad’s birthday party in the early hours of Monday morning.
However, he was sadly killed in the shocking incident.
CCTV footage showed five cows walking in the middle of the BR-343 road in the state of Piaui, Brazil.
The four adults and one calf were strolling along the street.
In the video, Ylano appears into shot but smashes into the cow at the back of the herd, which had just stepped across into the other side of the road.
The Piaui Under-20 footballer did not have time to react and swerve out of the way.
Upon making contact with the cow, he was thrown on to the tarmac and lay motionless as two witnesses rushed to check on him.
The cow was visibly distressed and in pain as it desperately tried to limp away.
Brazilian police confirmed Ylano died at the scene and the collision remains under investigation.
The footballer previously played for Altos and Fluminense-PL before joining Piaui.
He won the Piaui State Championship in 2024 and 2025.
Ylano’s clubs all paid tribute to the youngster and expressed their “deep sadness” before extending condolences to his friends and family.
He was due to travel with Piaui to Fortaleza on Tuesday to compete in the U20 Brazil Cup.
A wake was held in Altos, where the tragedy happened.
