AN evicted Big Brother housemate is already back at his day job just days after he was booted from the house.
Gani Khan became the second person to be evicted from the ITV2 house this series after surviving just one week inside the house.
He followed in the footsteps of Emily Hewertson who was evicted after just a few hours before she ultimately re-entered the house last week.
Unfortunately for Gani, he was left devastated upon his eviction and returning to normal life.
Now, the TV housemate, 39, is already back at his day job, working as a manager of a Pizza Hut restaurant in Bromley, London.
He was left in tears in his restaurant’s toilet upon learning that former housemates would be returning to the show but he had not been picked.
Taking to his TikTok account, where he has amassed 163,000 followers, he shared a tearful video whilst wearing his Pizza Hut uniform.
He said to the camera: “This is my genuine reaction to seeing Emily and Farida [Khalifa] go inside the Big Brother house.
“Obviously, yes, I’m upset. I am crying actually.”
However, the tearful star has now faced a further blow.
This week, Pizza Hut confirmed it would be closing a total of 68 branches leaving Gani fearing that he would be out of a job just days after being booted from the Big Brother house.
In another social media video, Gani can be heard saying: “I don’t know what to say, I am just really, really scared.
“Pizza Hut’s are getting closed and I don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
He then appeared to signal plans to walk away from Pizza Hut altogether amid the fiasco as he confessed: “Anyway, I am looking for a job.
“I could [be a] business development manager. I could be a retail manager.
“I could be anything, I have experience in accounts as well.”
Whilst he will be remaining at his Pizza Hut branch for the time being, Gani is also working on a skincare business he hopes to launch in March of next year.
Pizza Hut has been forced to take action and close restaurants, leaving many staff, including Gani, worried.
The Sun revealed DC London Pie Limited, the pizza’ chains UK owner, had called in FTI Consulting as administrators yesterday.
The firm runs Pizza Hut’s UK dine-in restaurants under a franchise deal.
As part of the move, the popular high street chain will also shut 11 delivery sites as part of a restructuring which will put 1,210 workers at risk of redundancy.
Whilst it is not explicitly clear which branch Gani works at, The Sun understands there are no current plans for any closures of restaurants in Bromley.
