UFC star Charles Oliveira celebrated a championship win… in HORSE RACING.
The Brazilian won the UFC lightweight title in 2021 and made one successful defence of the famous belt.
He has become a cult hero among fans over the years, dramatically turning his career around eight UFC losses to becoming champ.
Oliveira beat Mateusz Gamrot earlier in the month in his Rio de Janeiro homecoming bout and extended his UFC record of most stoppage wins at 21.
And while he seems to have achieved it all – in the cage at least – Oliveira still had one more dream to achieve.
The 36-year-old is a keen horse racer and finally won his first championship over the weekend in Argentina.
Oliveira wrote on Instagram: “Today I realized another great dream of mine, to win in Argentina.
“A great career with GORA MERMERBY ESCORPION, it’s even more special in a prize grid like the national race thank you to everyone who helps me and believes in my dreams, thank you!”
Oliveira grew up in Guaruja and was surrounded by horses.
He even bought his parents a farm and he started breeding animals through his UFC earnings.

Oliveira once admitted he gets more nervous before horse racing than he does for his own fights.
He told MMAFighting in 2023: “I don’t get nervous before a fight, I get a bit anxious when it’s time and whatnot, but for a race, man, I can’t sleep.
“I stayed up all night, walking around the house thinking [about the race] and asking God to bless us.”
