
A MAJOR UK supermarket is set to launch a giant toy sale in just a matter of hours.
Most supermarkets will drop their toy prices in the run up to Christmas with some already offering massive discounts.

Sainsbury’s is setting up for a massive discount on their toy stock just in time for the festive period.
Kids are already writing their Christmas lists and adults are already starting their Christmas shopping.
But Sainsbury’s is coming a little late to the party, with their massive sale kicking off on Wednesday, October 22.
Details on the discounts are sparse, with shoppers still waiting to see how much the most in demand toys will be reduced by.
The sale this year is starting today with price reductions on the most popular toys now available.
It remains unclear if the deals will be available in store and online.
Other supermarkets have already launched or are planning to launch their toy sales.
Tesco kicked their sale off earlier this week and started to offer discounts on its toys on Thursday.
The supermarket partners with The Entertainer for its toy range with the popular items sold at massive discounts in more than 260 selected large stores.
Tesco is also offering additional Clubcard Price deals on the range of more than 200 toys on offer.
The Tesco sale will last for several weeks, running right up until November 2.
Elsewhere Morrisons has launched a substantial half-price toy sale in preparation for the Christmas period.
More Card holders are being offered huge savings on a massive range of fan favourite toys.
Deals at Morrisons include big brands like Lego, Barbie, Pokemon and Mario Kart.
Morrisons stocking fillers sale kicked off on October 6 and will end on Sunday, October 6.
While over at budget retailer Aldi, who doesn’t offer toys year round, customers eagerly awaited the return of the store’s wooden toy range.
The discount toys came to the middle aisle of Aldi on October 9 with the festive catalogue following shortly later.
This included a number of Specialbuy toy deals including popular brands like Disney, which will be on offer throughout October and November.
Prices for the famous wooden toy range start at less than £2.
But kickstarting the festive discounts tends to be ASDA, who discounted their products on September 8.
The “Big Toy Event” gives families and little ones significant savings of up to 50% on brands like LEGO and Disney for only one day.
Although the mega supermarket’s Christmas toy sale is over, it still over incredible grocery discounts of chocolates and sweet for those with a sweet tooth.
Coming late to the party is Smyths Toys, releasing their range of discounted toys closer to Christmas on November 18.
Smyths released a 300-page Christmas catalogue on September 19 packed with toys only available at the superstore.
Some of the featured toys in the catalogue have been discounted to excite customers for the upcoming Christmas sale.
