A BBC reality TV star has revealed her new girlfriend just weeks after her TV marriage broke down.
The Berkshire-based gym programme creator, 32, became a household name after she starred in the first series of Stranded On Honeymoon Island.
During the 12-part show, the same number of singletons matched in pairs.
They immediately married, then kicked off their honeymoon on a tropical island.
Yet for Abby Reynolds, her partnership with Essex lass Helen Scott, 35, didn’t last the distance.
Initially, Abby told the BBC One show she had been seen previously as a “player” while Helen dubbed herself “a raging lesbian.”
The pair seemed an ideal match, with snapshots showing them holding hands and staring into each others eyes as they waded out of the sea.
Yet after failing to find a lasting partnership on Davina McCall‘s new series, Abby has now revealed her new partner on Instagram.
The pair have posted a series of videos together – stressing they only started dating when filming had wrapped – with her new partner joking how weird it was to see her marry another woman.
Uni graduate Abby is now happily dating influencer Katie Jerromes, with the pair posting a light-hearted video showing them fooling around at home.
In her caption Katie wrote: “POV It’s your girlfriend’s premiere night to get married on a TV show to someone else.”
In her caption, she dubbed the turn of events the “world’s best kept secret.”
In another clip she quipped; “POV your girlfriend was on a TV show and got married after one date but won’t give you a ring after three months.”
Another sweet video showed the pair cuddling and squishing each others’ faces before Katie gave Abby a cheeky lick.
This time around, Abby wrote the caption and put: “POV You finally found your person.”
Katie was quick to write: “I love you,” in the comments.
SHOW DOWNLOW
During the BBC series, Abby made an emotional confession and broke down in tears at the pair’s final vows ceremony.
Yet shortly after the show wrapped, she took to her Instagram page to inform fans her marriage hadn’t worked “in the real world.”
She wrote: “To my stranded wife, thank you for everything.
“Although it didn’t work out back home i couldn’t have done this experience without you.
“Forever grateful to have had you by my side in this crazy experience.
“But ultimately on the outside we were just two people who didn’t fit into each other’s lives.”
Yet the pair seem to be on good terms, with Helen recently making a quip about her “stranded wife” in the comments section on one of Abby’s posts.
Additionally, she has opened up on her lessons learned on the series.
Helen told Nonchalant Magazine: “You don’t need all the material stuff!
“Stereotypically, I’m very feminine. Fake tan, Essex girl, extensions, lashes. But the reality is you don’t need any of it.
“And I think more than that, without all of the phones, filters, and ways of altering ourselves, love feels more real.
“On the island, there was no hiding, no pretending. You had to be yourself, and that was actually really lovely.”
