GEORGE LIDDARD announced himself to the British boxing mainstream with the breakout performance of 2025.
At just 23-years-old, the Billericay boy totally dominated proven and respected 29-year-old Northampton man Kieron Conway to claim the iconic 11st Lonsdale belt.

The York Hall performance was faultless without being flashy and thoroughly one-sided, without being dull.
After winning every round, Liddard dropped Conway in the ninth, by which time the toppled champ had suffered an injury to his jabbing left hand.
And his father and trainer James threw in the towel in tenth, leaving the West Ham fan beaming.
“And the new baby!” He roared about his coronation.
“I said by the end of the year I would be British champion and I did it – Get up!
“I knew I had the sharper hands and feet, I knew he was tough, but we got the job done.
“I would have won by any means necessary but I have big respect for Kieron.
“In my 13th fight I have boxed like an experienced pro and picked up the British title.”

The bookies had the bout almost at 50-50 and plenty of fans were picking Conway’s experience, height and reach advantages to upset the odds.
But Liddard was punch perfect from the off.
And, when he did ship the odd Conway shot, he showed a granite chin and a measured maliciousness to instantly fire back.
At the start of fight week, the diehard Iron revealed to SunSport he dreamed of one day fighting at his club’s huge Stratford stadium.
And with skills and time on his baby-faced side, he might just bring it home for the Hammers.
He said: “I saw a lot of people say this was too soon for me and that I would freeze on the big occasion.
“But people don’t see the hard work and what I put my body and mine through behind the scenes.
“I will leave my team to pick the next move, everyone else said this was a 50-50 fight but my team knew it wasn’t.
“The dream is the London Stadium, baby!”
