SPACE NK just launched its fragrance Advent calendar for 2025, and mark my words, it’s going to sell out.
The 12-day calendar is worth £558, and as an avid perfume fan, I was more than happy to put it to the test.
12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar, £160 (worth £588)
Those who missed out on Space NK’s beauty Advent calendar have been given a second chance with the launch of 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar.
While I love trying new perfumes, I’m no expert, and what better way to experiment than by trying out 13 scents at once?
Retailing for £160, the lineup features a mix of full-size and mini perfumes (some well-known, some brand new), along with a luxury Diptique candle.
I’ve been on the hunt for a signature scent for months, but without really knowing the notes I like, I’ve become a commitment-phobe with deciding on which to buy.
For that reason, a fragrance Advent calendar had been on my wishlist, and Space NK’s new addition swooped in just after after the retailer’s beauty version sold out (read my Space NK beauty Advent calendar review).
The fold-out box is similar to Space NK’s 24-day calendar, featuring the same print in a festive green colour.

How much is it? The calendar costs £160, with a value of £558 inside.
Who’s it best for? Any perfume fan looking to explore new scents from new and viral brands.
What we loved: The variety of scents, some drawers contained two perfumes, the Diptique candle.
What we didn’t love: There could be a few more showstopper brands for the price.

Inside the calendar, beauty fans will find two full-size 50ml perfumes (although the website states three), the Malin + Goetz Strawberry Eau de Parfum and the DedCool Fragrance Number 01 “Taunt“ Eau De Parfum.
The Malin + Goetz Strawberry Eau de Parfum, £89
I must admit, I was apprehensive when I discovered that one of the full-size fragrances was strawberry based, but I needn’t have been.
The Malin + Goetz Strawberry perfume (worth £89) is light and fresh without being overpowering, rather than sickly sweet like I imagined (proving the beauty of experimenting with new scents).

DedCool’s Fragrance Number 01 is a genderless perfume with notes of vanilla and bergamot.
It’s not something that I would usually go for, but I liked the sophisticated scent and strong lasting power.
The rest of the perfumes come in handbag-friendly sizes ranging from 5ml-12ml, and one is a viral favourite.
Glossier’s You Doux launched last year to mark the 10-year anniversary of the cult You fragrance.
I’m a big fan of the original Glossier You, and its sister scent didn’t disappoint.
It’s warm and woody but still light enough for everyday wear — and I’ll be repurchasing the second my 8ml bottle runs out.

Out of the 13 fragrances, Acne Studios par Frédéric Malle Eau de Parfum is my favourite.
I’m officially obsessed with the bright, clean scent, and I can still smell it on myself hours after spritzing.
Byredo’s viral Blanche perfume is also inside the Advent calendar (in the cutest mini bottle).
A couple of the drawers also have more than one fragrance, including two Juliette Has A Gun scents on one day.
Diptique Mimosa Scented Candle, £37
Space NK always includes a scented candle in its lineup, and the retailer’s choice of a Diptique Mimosa candle is the best yet.
Lookfantastic launched its fragrance Advent calendar again for 2025, and it’s already sold out.
The retailer’s version had a star-studded lineup (with cult favourites like Black Opium), but I do like that Space NK’s version branches out with some lesser-known brands.

Space NK could have included a couple more big names (I would have loved to see a Phlur perfume inside) but overall there’s a nice mix.

Several of the scents are sophisticated (so may not be as popular with a young audience) — but I can see the calendar being a hit with most fragrance fans.

The verdict: Is the Space NK fragrance Advent calendar worth it?
Space NK’s fragrance Advent calendar caters for every type of perfume fan, from experts to beginners in search of their signature scent.
The mix of new launches and viral favourites (and a luxurious Diptique candle) is why it’s going to sell out, and it’s great choice for experimenting with new brands.
I would have liked to have seen a few more cult names inside (especially for the £160 price tag), but it did lead me to discovering several new favourites that I’ll be repurchasing.
