‘Diva’ Molly-Mae cuts filming of Prime Video series before explosive backstage row with family in VERY awkward moment

MOLLY-MAE Hague called herself a “diva” as she had a tearful meltdown ahead of her L’Oreal catwalk in Paris.

The influencer and businesswoman, 26, felt out of her comfort zone doing the huge event, which was attended by names like Kylie Jenner and Eva Longoria.

Ahead of the show, Molly-Mae shopped for outfits but failed to find anything she liked, telling the camera: “I need to put my diva pants on a stick to my guns.”

In her hotel room, minutes before her high fashion debut, Molly had jitters after being unimpressed with the dress the beauty brand selected for her.

With her hair in rollers and wearing black pyjamas, Molly-Mae shared her reservations with sister Zoe, mum Debbie and manager Fran.

And when the time came to try on the silk frock, which had a thigh split, Molly’s face said it all, despite reassurances from her family that she looked nice.

MUM-SHAMED

She said: “I can’t go out like that. I wouldn’t feel comfortable.”

Getting tearful, she added: “I’ve never got my leg out in my whole career.”

Molly, who is a brand ambassador for L’Oreal, said she felt the colour of the dress “washed her out” and that a panic attack was on its way.

She cried: “It’s not accentuating my body or anything. It’s just baggy.”

Zoe tried to tell her confidence comes from within and it was as much about how she carried herself as what she had on.

She insisted: “She’s not, not doing!”

Fran scrambled to find out if the dress could be altered backstage and learned there was no alternative outfit.

She put the question to Molly-Mae, “do you want to do it?”

The episode cut there, but fans of Molly’s know that she did go on to walk the runway, and looked great doing it.

After the show, she explained why she pushed ahead in an Instagram post, writing: “This year I said yes to the catwalk… I wanted to show myself and Bambi that the things that feel the scariest often become the most special moments. Thank you @lorealparis for believing in me.”

She added: “I so nearly didn’t make it onto the runway but the fact it happened just made it even more special. We obviously filmed it all (love heart emoji)’”

Molly had initially been asked to do the event in 2024 but declined having felt unable to match the stellar names taking part.

She previously said in her docuseries: “Imagine all the models walking down and then there’s me, I just would have felt really out of place.”
