HERE’S the first enchanting peek at the new Diagon Alley set for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series.
The magical London street was built during the summer on a studio lot.
Hidden behind the Leaky Cauldron pub, it is crowded with magical shops stacked one on top of the other.
Fans of the books and films will recognise it as where the boy wizard gets his first wand and buys owl Hedwig.
An insider said: “There is a whole new part that wasn’t in the first films.
“It’s completely different and it has a different feel.
“The street is two layers.
“The wand shop is a little different but the main difference is the bank.”
“I wasn’t there when they were filming so I don’t know too much about the plot.”
He added: “I don’t think they’re allowed to do the same as the films, apart from the general Harry Potter story, so the design will be very different.
“The joke shop is in a different place and does not look anything like the original.”
Harry is played by Dominic McLaughlin, 11, in the series — out in 2027.
