THE German Darts Championship is set to get going THIS weekend – but Luke Littler will not be there!
The Nuke is fresh off the back of winning the World Grand Prix, after a 6-1 demolition of Luke Humphries in the final in Leicester.

Littler is continuing his pursuit of Humphries as world No 1, but takes a break from doing so this weekend.
The 18-year-old is the current World Darts Championship, World Matchplay and World Grand Prix champion.
And with the Players Championship finals, Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship to come later this year, there is plenty of prize money up for grabs still in 2025.
SunSport can reveal why Luke Littler is not playing in the German Darts Championship.
Why is Luke Littler not playing in the German Darts Championship?
Luke Littler is not playing in Germany as he takes a break from the hectic darts schedule, a week after winning the World Grand Prix.
Littler has been vocal about ongoing issues with the German crowd, but that is not why he has pulled out.
The Nuke was booed during the Premier League Darts night in Berlin, and then once more in the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.
He returned for a short, not so sweet, tenure in the Darts World Cup, being eliminated alongside Luke Humphries by the German team.
Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson have also opted to miss this weekend’s tournament.
