FURIOUS MPs are accusing PM Sir Keir Starmer of dragging his feet over the national grooming gangs inquiry.
They are demanding an urgent update amid fears of a whitewash.

Tory MP Katie Lam writes in today’s Sun: “Tens of thousands of victims and perpetrators were covered up.
“Not one official, social worker, police officer or politician has been prosecuted.”
She hit out four months after the PM caved in to pressure for an inquiry.
Labour MP Sarah Champion added: “The hope survivors felt is starting to erode.”
MORE ON GROOMING GANG INQUIRY
The inquiry is yet to even find an expert to head it.
Rotherham Labour MP Sarah Champion, who has long campaigned for the victims of rape gangs, said: “It is deeply disappointing that we still don’t have a chair for the much needed inquiry into grooming gangs.
“The relief and hope survivors and whistleblowers felt at the announcement four months ago is starting to erode.
“We need to pour sunlight onto this evil crime to prevent it once and for all – only the truth will do that.”
Labour’s Marie Rimmer is among several MPs who have signed a motion calling for ministers to get on with it.
“We now need to see action,” she wrote on X: “Too often in this country, justice delayed is justice denied.”
A Home Office spokesperson said: “We will do everything in our power to ensure these crimes never happen again.
“We are working urgently to appoint the best chair to take forward this work, to get to the truth and deliver justice to the survivors.”
