TEMPLEGATE goes through Wednesday’s cards confident of firing in some winners.

JOREBEL (4.58 Worcester, nap)
Chris and Freddie Gordon team up again with this six-year-old who has been in cracking form this season. He returned last month with a battling success at Fontwell before scoring again at the Sussex track last time by a much easier three lengths. He’ll have no issue with this longer trip and can improve enough to land the hat-trick.
PENELOPE VALENTINE (6.40 Kempton, nb)
Is happiest on the all-weather and followed a Wolver win with a close-up fourth at Newcastle last time. He is best over trip and has winning form around here too. The first-time blinkers can help too.
BLUE TRAIN (8.10 Kempton, treble)
He came with a late rattle to strike over course and distance this time last week and looks hard to stop under a 6lb penalty. The booking of Rossa Ryan only adds to this three-year-old’s chances.
BIG GINGE (3.58 Worcester, Lucky 15)
Was last seen running a good race in the red-hot Imperial Cup at Sandown. He likes this trip and the Twiston-Davies yard has made a flying start to the new jumps season.
