Kieran, 27, from Worcestershire went to the summit of Wales’ highest peak on Monday morning, say the Daily Post Wales.

He was last spotted at Bwlch Glas at midday and an alert was raised that afternoon.

The police, mountain rescue teams, a Coastguard helicopter and members of the public were all involved in the search for Kieran.

The search carried on into Tuesday where police confirmed Kieran’s body had been discovered.

His family have been informed and the coroner has been made aware.

Chief Inspector Emma Parry said: “My deepest condolences remain with Kieran’s family at this extremely difficult time.

“This is not the outcome we had hoped for, and I would once again thank partner agencies and all those who supported our searches.

“The family would also like to thank the mountain rescue teams who assisted in the search for Kieran, along with all other agencies involved.”
