However, Charlotte has now got candid about the money woes facing her fashion brand, Pepper Girls Club.

The former Geordie Shore alum is the sole owner of the clothing company which has amassed an impressive 265,000 following online.

But it now seems that followers have not transferred into cash with Charlotte now revealing that she is in £300,000 of debt to herself.

The mum-of-two ploughed the huge six figure sum – taken from her own TV earnings over the years – into the company but she has failed to make a penny back.

Speaking in a new behind-the-scenes video to share the secrets of her company, she admitted her financial struggles have been the hardest part of running her company.

Charlotte said: “I have literally put so much money into this business.

“That is no word of a lie.

“I’ve put about £300,000 into this business over the last eight years.

“I haven’t received a penny of that back.”

She added: “The company is only in debt to me which is fine.

“I would love to get it to the point where I can start to get some of that money back.

“But it is just not there yet.”

Charlotte further revealed that she had campaigned to get investment from others to help the business but had been cruelly dismissed by potential lenders.

She recalled how one even said to her: “Their accountant told me that Pepper Girls Club would do good the day that pigs fly.”

Charlotte then revealed that she had spent too much money on organising brand photoshoots and called it her “biggest business mistake”.

The TV personality confessed she spent £20,000 on a photoshoot in Ibiza to plug a summer range for the brand but she ultimately made the clothes available for purchase too late.

The chaotic trip was filmed as part of her BBC series at the time, Charlotte in Sunderland.

Charlotte said of the disaster: “I went to Ibiza for a summer photo shoot that launched far too late.

“It was basically winter by the time we launched it and I spent about 20 grand.”

Charlotte has achieved multi-millionaire status over the years thanks to her lengthy TV career.

She has had three solo TV shows off the back of quitting Geordie Shore and has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity in mega-money deals.

Charlotte also earned a pretty penny with her fitness DVDs which went on to become the UK’s best-selling celebrity workout videos.

She has regularly topped up her earnings with a wide variety of big-money endorsement deals.
