Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher left little to the imagination in an eye-catching new Instagram album this week.
The 60-year-old posted a snap of herself dripping wet – wearing a white tank top over no bra – as she emerged from a lagoon in Kenya during a night swim.
Her exquisitely toned physique was on display in the sheer clinging fabric, and she had an exuberant smile on her face as she waded around in the water with pals.
She joked to her followers that ‘this is me walking into a scary lagoon at night in Kenya! Note the socks I was certain would “keep me safe.”‘
It was unclear when precisely the trip took place, but she was accompanied by her father Owen Hatcher Jr., as seen in one of the photos.
‘Last slide is my dad who was on the trip with us and begged me not to get in the water… but I faced down my fear and it was worth it!’ crowed Teri.

The family photo showed Owen and Teri not at the night swim, but during the day on the savannah, posing in front of a pair of passing giraffes.
Both of Teri’s parents are still living, and she featured them in a heartwarming Instagram video four weeks ago of her bringing them homemade tacos at their house.
Her latest post about Kenya was a plug for her podcast Desperately Devoted, which she hosts with her real daughter Emerson Tenney, 27, as well as actress Andrea Bowen, 35, who played her character’s daughter on Desperate Housewives.
Teri remains best known for her role as single mother Susan Meyer on the long-running comedy-drama, amid a cast including Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan and Jesse Metcalfe.
Feud rumors about the main actresses have been flying for years, and were dredged back up online when Teri launched her themed-podcast.
When one social media user asked if the other Desperate Housewives would be guests on the podcast, another flatly replied: ‘doubt it,’ in a sly nod to the conjecture.
Jesse himself was asked about the rumors at a panel event only last month, and replied diplomatically that he was ‘very grateful’ to be on the show.
‘Matter of fact, there’s a lot of stories about all the drama on that set between some of our lead females. And I was like, I was oblivious to it, basically, you know, because I was just so thrilled to be on a show and just so in the moment,’ he said, via People.

Meanwhile Teri last month posted an Instagram collage of her makeup-free, with no filter, offering fans an unmediated glimpse of her face as she took a sunset stroll.
She described every ‘line’ as ‘a story of real human effort,successes & flaws,’ adding: ‘I choose gratitude for the time gifted in every wrinkle.’
Teri, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu, exclusively told the Daily Mail a few years ago about the diet that helps her maintain her lithe physique.
She confessed she was astonished at how many people she sees eating ‘s*** out of a box,’ marveling: ‘Why not make the choice to stay away from ingredients doctors have told us aren’t helpful to our health?’
Teri elaborated: ‘Like sugar. Alcohol. Processed foods. I stay motivated to make good choices, concentrating on eating food that falls into the categories of vegetables, dark leafy greens, fruits, and protein and whole grains.’
Her health regimen includes meditation and exercise, she said, explaining: ‘I try to do all this regularly so my body can do things long into the future.’
