I’M A Celebrity sparked an ‘influencer war’ as a popular social media star has signed up for the jungle.
The beloved ITV series is putting together its cast of campmates for the next series.
Rumoured names so far include soap stars and a breakfast telly legend.
According to The Express, YouTube and TikTok star Angry Ginge will reportedly be entering the Aussie jungle.
His real name is Morgan Burtwhistle and he began posting on YouTube in 2021.
A source claimed the decision to cast the 23-year-old has caused a stir among other online creators.
They told the publication: “It’s turned into an influencer war every single year now.
“There are some really big names in that space who have been trying to get into the jungle for ages, and they feel ITV keep ignoring them.
“First it was GK Barry last year, now it’s Angry Ginge — people are fuming.”
The source further claimed more tenured influencers feel “stitched up” by the alleged snub.
It comes as The Sun exclusively revealed Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley was being lined up for the jungle.
Lisa, 49, played Mandy Dingle from 1995 to 2001, before reprising the role from 2019 onwards.
A TV insider said previously: “Lisa is the perfect celebrity for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions she’s one of its biggest characters and it’s an ITV show to boot.
“She also has a naughty, mischievous sense of humour which is guaranteed to get a big response from her other celebrity campmates during their time in the jungle.
“Lisa is by no means the first star from Emmerdale to have gone on I’m a Celebrity and those that do always tend to get a great response from viewers at home.”
Her co-star Danny Miller – who plays Aaron Dingle – won the competition when he competed in 2021.
Bookies also claimed bosses were lining up presenter Denise Van Outen to take part.

“With a new album in the autumn and a tour booked for the spring, there’s a glaring hole in her calendar that she could fill with a Bushtucker Trial or two.”
