WAYNE Rooney is teaming up with Giggs…but this time, it’s not his old Manchester United teammate.
The ex-footballer has signed a big money deal to appear alongside the British rapper – real name Nathaniel Thompson – in a new advert for clothing brand Palace Skateboards.

Wayne, 39, and Giggs, 42, were in good company for the campaign, as they were joined by the Lionesses captain Leah Williamson, Chelsea players Reece James and Jamie Gittins and Spurs Ladies ace Lenna Gunning-Williams.
The group were spotted filming the advert in South London, with crowds forming around them as they filmed the scenes.
Wayne was dressed in a grey Palace jumper with white jogging bottoms while Giggs looked slick in a black jumper and long coat.
A source said: “Wayne is a big fan of Palace’s clothes so it was a no-brainer to get him involved in the advert.

“He’s also really into his music so hanging out with Giggs was a dream for him.
“The shoot, which saw Giggs performing in the ad, went really well and attracted a lot of attention because it happened on a residential street.
“Some locals got the shock of their lives when they nipped down to the shop only to find Wayne knocking about with a football on the pavement.”
This is the latest big money deal Wayne has signed since he left Birmingham City as manager last year.
Wayne said of his failed turn as the gaffer: “I think I took very difficult jobs.
“Obviously, I was at Derby [as a player] and then I went in as manager and then they went into administration.
“Then I went out to the US and managed DC United, which people actually think and talk about as if it was a big failure.
“DC United finished bottom the three seasons before I went in, and then we missed out on playoffs by a point, and then when I left, they went back to the bottom and people don’t talk about that.
“Then I went to Birmingham, which was an absolute car crash from day one, to be honest.
“I remember we played Middlesbrough away in the first game, we lost 1-0 in the 90th minute. “Then we played Hull at home.
“I remember I walked out and my first game at home, and I’m stood there, and the players are shaking hands and I’m over there. And there was a Birmingham fan behind me: ‘Get back to America, you fat c***.’
“I turned around, I was laughing. I turned around, I was like, ‘Give me a chance’.
“And so that was just never right at the time. It weren’t a good fit.”
Wayne has now moved into punditry and has joined Match Of The Day.
The Sun first revealed he’d been chosen by the BBC for a plum job on their flagship football show.
He has also signed up as a panellist for the channel’s 2026 World Cup coverage from the US, Mexico and Canada.
