A MAJOR cleaning brand sold in Tesco and Waitrose has launched a new product that is sure to leave fans excited.
Method, the household cleaning brand, has brought out a range of haircare products.
It marks the first time the brand, best known for eco-friendly kitchen sprays, has moved into the haircare market.
Each product is made without sulphates, parabens, silicones or dyes, and is safe for colour treated hair.
Three different shampoos and conditioners will be rolled out as part of the launch.
This includes its simply nourish shampoo and conditioner, which contains coconut, rice milk and shea butter.
This aims to smooths frizz and soften tangles.
Shoppers can also get their hands on its peace and petals shampoo and conditioner, which Method said helps give hair volume.
Finally, a daily zen shampoo and conditioner works to target build up on the hair.
Each shampoo and conditioner will be sold separately, with a recommended retail price of £6.50 per bottle.
The products will be available to shop at Waitrose and online at Amazon.
It adds to a range of popular cleaning products sold by the brand, such as its multi purpose spray which comes in a range of scents such as lavender or grape fruit.
In the past, shoppers have praised the sprays and labelled them the “best” and their “go to”.
These typically cost £3.50 and can be bought in a range of stores such as Dunelm, Waitrose and Tesco.
It is not uncommon for brands to pivot into other markets.
For example, Primark began selling its own line of make-up and other beauty products in 2014.
It now sells a range of items including blushes for £3, which have been labelled an afforable dupe for Huda’s Beauty £24 Blush Filter.
Affordable grocery store Aldi, also sells a range of beauty products under its Lacura brand.
How to bag a bargain
SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…
Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.
Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.
Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.
Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.
Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.
When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.
Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
