A PROUD traveller mum has showed off just one of the adorable outfits in her son’s wardrobe.
The mum, who goes by @doll20212021 on TikTok, took to the social media platform to share her little one’s latest look and people can’t get over how cute he looks.
At the start of the viral clip, the mum cradled her son, who is called Tommy, in her arms and explained she was going to get him ready for the day ahead.
She started by showing off her son’s jeans from BOSS, which retail for £90, although cheaper options can be found online for as little as £50.
The stylish mum then paired the pricey jeans with a matching blue polo shirt from the same brand, which cost £55.
But what fellow TikTok users really loved was the shoes the mum picked out for little Tommy.
Instead of the sort of shoes you might expect to see on a small child with bright colours and cartoons the mum opted for a chic pair of Gucci loafers, which retail for £335 brand new.
“[The shoes] are going to be too big on him obviously but I’m just going to put them on him photos, look at the size of them, they’re unbelievable,” the mum explained.
After baby Tommy was dressed the mum showed off the final outfit – and people couldn’t get enough of it.
The clip quickly racked up a whopping 238k views with many flocking to compliment the mum and baby in the comment section.
One wrote: “Wee darling, he’s beautiful. Omg look at these shoes, love them.”
“You are a fantastic mum, his clothes are fabulous,” a second agreed.
A third chimed in: “No those those shoes are too bloody cute.”
And someone else gushed:” Aw baby Tom is too cute!!”
However, some TikTok users thought the little one was too young for the outfit.
“He should be in a soft comfortable baby grow, plenty of time for jeans etc when he’s older,” one person scorned.
Another agreed: “I’m sorry I don’t doubt you love him but dress a baby in baby clothes. Embrace the new born and enjoy every second of it, some people would love to have the opportunity.”
As for the cost of the outfit, one person pointed out the huge cost of the outfit, which came to an eye-watering £480.
“The baby’s outfit costing more than my whole wardrobe,” they commented.
But the mum wasn’t phased by the naysayers, and replied to the comment by once again showing off her little one’s adorable look.
Traditions in the gypsy/traveller communities
Nomadic lifestyle: Traditionally, many travellers maintain a nomadic lifestyle, living in caravans and moving frequently. This mobility is a core aspect of their identity, reflecting a deep connection to freedom and independence.
Strong family bonds: Family is central to traveller culture. Extended families often live and travel together, providing a strong support network. Marriages and social events are significant community affairs, reinforcing familial ties.
Distinct Language: Many travellers speak Shelta, also known as Cant or Gammon, a distinct language that mixes elements of Irish, English, and other languages. This language serves as a cultural marker and a means of private communication within the community.
Religious practices: The traveller community often follows Roman Catholicism, with religious festivals and milestones like baptisms, communions, and weddings being particularly significant. However, individual beliefs and practices can vary widely.
Unique celebrations: Events such as horse fairs and traditional weddings are major social gatherings for travellers. These occasions are marked by elaborate preparations, vibrant attire, and communal participation.
