Five ways to get your morning cup of coffee for free

MANY people love to start their day with a morning coffee.

The day will get off to an even better start if your drink is free.

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a brew without paying a penny. Here’s how . . .

MORRISONS: Shoppers at the chain can currently bag a free refillable hot drink in its cafes when spending at least £10 in stores.

You will need to be signed up to its More Card loyalty scheme and the voucher for the offer will appear in the app as long as you scan when shopping.

The deal is available until September 28.

ENERGY REWARD: Customers of Octopus energy with a smart meter can sign up to its Octoplus Rewards programme which offers a variety of perks including one monthly iced coffee, and a weekly coffee at Greggs and Caffe Nero.

SIGN UP: If you download the Greggs app and sign up as a new member of its loyalty scheme, you’ll be rewarded with a free coffee.

You’ll also get a free coffee just for joining the Dunkin Donuts loyalty programme DUNKIN Rewards app.

SHOPPER PERKS: Waitrose customers signed up to the myWaitrose loyalty scheme can get a free coffee when shopping in store.

Simply head to the coffee station and scan your card to get the hot drink.

You’ll also get a free cup of tea or coffee when you shop at Ikea during the weekdays, as long as you’re signed up to its Ikea family card.
