Katie Price shows off huge new sofa as she gives fans a rare look inside £4.5k a month mansion

KATIE Price has given a glimpse at her huge new sofa newly-positioned in her posh rental pad.

The mum of five is busy kitting out her three-bed barn conversion, which is seeing her shell out £4,500 per month in rent for the privilege.

The former glamour model – who was declared bankrupt last year before being discharged in March – previously needed to stump up £5,192 for the deposit for her new long-term rental.

Yet with her cash issues now in line, she has given a rare glimpse into her usually-private pad after first revealing the kitchen space this month.

Katie captured the impressive cream furniture, positioned in a u-shape around a table, as it took pride of place in the living room.

The cream boucle fabric perfectly complements the dark wooden floor while the TV star made sure to keep things cosy with plentiful cushions, throws and blankets.

It proved the perfect contrast to her lip-shaped mini sofa which also sat in the room, and perspex dining chairs perched on a table.

And the Pricey won’t have to worry about any of her famous pals having the same interiors, as the sofa has been created especially for her.

In her Instagram image caption she wrote: “Love my custom made sofa.”

She then tagged the UK-based company, Comfort & co sofas and beds, in her upload.

Fans were quick to appreciate her happy home chapter and one wrote: “She bounces back never underestimate the Pricey x”

A second posted: “I feel like all those neutral colours will be good for the mind. Calming.”

A third wrote: “Well done babe you deserve all the happiness in the world xxx”

Another added: “Looks stunning @katieprice making your house a home with your own touches just love it.”

Meanwhile, Katie’s rural retreat also features floor to ceiling windows and doors, vaulted ceilings, a large kitchen and living room with a cosy wood-burning stove inside a brick fireplace.

A mezzanine sitting room overlooks the light and airy living area and gives a closer view of the exposed wooden beams in the ceiling.

Katie Price’s missing millions

At the peak of her career Katie had an estimated fortune of £45m, thanks to her lucrative modelling career, book deals, and TV appearances.

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

In a podcast interview earlier this year, she blamed her exes who include Peter AndreAlex Reid and Kieran Hayler and lawyers for her money woes.

She insisted that funding her exes’ lavish lifestyles with cars, watches, luxury holidays and homes left her finances in tatters.

She added: “I went through a breakdown, this is how mine started – lawyers and exes, that is my bankruptcy thing.

“And obviously a bit of HMRC.

“When I had my breakdown, if anyone has been depressed… I don’t know if you’ve ever had depression.

“It starts with depression and you just want to sleep all day and not talk to anyone, the phone would ring and you wouldn’t answer it.’

In March, Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

Her Mucky Mansion was a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.

She finally moved out at the end of May and is renting a four-bed mansion in Sussex.

She was previously facing homelessness after her previous landlord decided to sell the property she has been staying in.

Yet with days to spare, she secured a guarantor for her new rental home.

HOUSE WOES

TV personality Katie was evicted from her dilapidated Mucky Mansion last year amid financial issues.

Her former home became synonymous with its shabby look and constant need for repair.

After being kicked out, Katie moved into her current four-bedroom house in Sussex.

Earlier this year, we exclusively revealed a buyer had snapped up the Mucky Mansion for less than Katie paid for it in 2014.

The rundown pad, which has nine bedrooms and four bathrooms, was bought for £1.15million – £200,000 less than Katie paid for it.

She previously insisted it was worth at least £2million.
