BEAUTY fans have been raving about Primark’s latest makeup drop and it looks almost identical to a cult favourite that costs eight times the price.
TikTok creator Sophie Swannick, known as @sophieswannickk, showed off her dupe Primark find and fans were obsessed.
Sophie compared Primark’s new £3 liquid blushes to Huda Beauty’s viral £24 Blush Filter in a side-by-side test.
Primark’s version comes in three shades, Blush, Orange and Violet, with cute packaging and a doe-foot applicator that looks strikingly similar to Huda’s design.
Sophie, who picked up the full set, put them to the test against her go-to Huda favourites in Cotton Candy and Peach Sorbet.
She said the high-end blush duo gave the usual “creamy, pigmented and dewy” finish she loves.
When she switched to Primark, she admitted the cheaper product was “definitely not as pigmented” but still “very pretty” and blended “really nicely”.
After applying the £3 formulas across her cheeks and nose, Sophie was shocked at just how close the results were to the premium brand.
Sophie confirmed the dupe was “not actually that far off”, calling them “a slay.”
Huda Beauty’s Blush Filter promises a lightweight, buildable formula with finely milled micro-pearls for a soft-focus glow.
It’s currently available in 11 shades with playful names such as Ube Cream, Black Cherry and Bubblegum and is selling for £19 at Boots in a limited-time offer.
Primark’s affordable alternative may not pack quite the same punch, but at £21 cheaper per tube, beauty lovers are hailing it a bargain buy.
Fans were impressed with the results.
One user said: “wow love this”.
Another said: “Omg I just got these, i loveee them”.
While a third added: “Both versions are actually really good”.
More beauty bargains
It’s not just Primark stocking up on great beauty bargains.
Shoppers have spotted a Charlotte Tilbury dupe selling in Home Bargains for just £1.99.
The Revolution Pro Cream Wand Trio set is often hailed as a great dupe for Charlotte Tilbury‘s £81 Beauty Light Wand & Hollywood Contour Kit.
The Revolution set usually sells for £18, which is already a huge £63 cheaper than the designer version.
It’s also currently selling on the Asos website for £15.50.
But a smart shopper on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group spotted it in Home Bargains for £1.99.
That’s a huge £79 cheaper than Charlotte Tilbury’s version.
Plus, beauty fans are also racing to Home Bargains for a £128 skincare holy grail that’s being sold for just £27.99, and you can even get it delivered.

“A huge 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines according to new research from E.l.f. Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there’s millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.
“While some dupes are easy to spot given their look-a-like packing, they’re often lacking when it comes to the contents.
“In fact, some of the best dupes look nothing like the luxury product they’re a dead-ringer for – and, trust me, they’re the ones you want.”
REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50 which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although it doesn’t have a mirror in the compact.
REAL: Milk Make-up Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: E.l.f. Power Grip Primer, £10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same long-wearing, mattifying properties – although, E.l.f’s is so popular it’s just as hard to get hold of.
REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are virtually identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you’re wearing all day.
REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99. While they don’t look alike from the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations is pretty similar – unfortunately, the Collection only comes in 20 shades vs Estee Lauder’s 60 options.
REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows look fuller. I have to say, the shade range is far better with Boy Brow, but if you’re brunette, there’s plenty of Essence shade options to try.
