ANDY CARROLL was sent off on his long-awaited full debut for Dagenham & Redbridge.
The former England striker, 36, joined the National League South club in July.
He came off the bench after recovering from a hamstring injury for his debut last week as his new team were thumped 5-2.
Carroll, though, was given a starting spot up front for today’s trip to Bedford.
And he even wore the captain’s armband.
However, the big forward was sent for an early bath just before half-time.
He saw a straight red for a foul when jumping for the ball.
