A WOMAN in her 20s has been sexually assaulted in a town park in broad daylight.
Cops have launched an urgent appeal after the victim was attacked in West Bromwich, on Tuesday.
The assault was launched at around 12.15pm in Kenrick park, off Green Street.
West Midlands Police cordoned off the scene, which is nearby a Kenrick Park tram stop.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We’re investigating after a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted in a park off Green Street, West Bromwich.
“It happened at around 12.15pm on Tuesday, September 9.
“We’re offering support to the woman as we seek to identify the offender.
