Brooklyn Beckham‘s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood has opened up on her relationship with the aspiring cook, revealing they were together for longer than they let fans believe.
The Summer House star started dating the 26-year-old budding entrepreneur in 2018 and they were together for ‘more than a year’ before he met his now-wife Nicola, 30, in October 2019.
‘I think when it broke out [in the news], we probably dated for longer than people thought, but because we were both young, we really did love privacy,’ Lexi, 27, told the Daily Mail.
The Canadian model was first linked to David and Victoria Beckham‘s eldest after they were seen passionately kissing at a tattoo parlor in West Hollywood in April 2018 shortly after he and actress Chloë Grace Moretz split.
They were together ‘for a long while after’ the public sighting of them and kept their relationship on the down low.
Lexi described her famous ex as ‘an amazing person’ and proved there are no hard feelings with Nicola.

‘I love that he has moved on to his amazing relationship and marriage,’ she said. ‘I wish nothing but the best for both of them.
‘I know [Nicola’s] brothers and her and I have met a couple times and, honestly, from the outside looking in, they’re all amazing,’ Lexi said.
‘His life has moved on so much. My life has moved on so much… I just love this chapter for him and them and I just really respect everything.’
What started as the perfect marriage with blended families – Brooklyn and Nicola got married in April 2022 at her family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida – has turned into an all-out family feud with the happy couple becoming estranged from his famous parents.
Victoria, 51, and David, 50, as well as Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, were not part of the 200 strong guests who attended the couple’s lavish ‘second’ wedding ceremony, which took place last month at the Peltz estate in Westchester County, New York.
Brooklyn’s 14-year-old sister Harper, his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles were also absent.
When asked about their family feud, Lexi, told the Daily Mail: ‘I think that you never know what happens behind closed doors.
‘And all I know is my experience and my experience was amazing – Romeo and Cruz are the best people I’ve ever met. They’re the best.’

She went on to spill that she got to spend time with Victoria and David and praised them for raising ‘such a great family,’ especially ‘brilliant’ Brooklyn.
‘And I just think the moment that I met his parents, they raised such a great family and I’m so family oriented that that’s something that I’ve just always really looked up to and I hope to have one day,’ she remarked.
‘So I just respect them, I respect her family, I respect all of them. And my experience was really great.’
The TV personality could only theorize on the family drama. ‘I think as people grow up, things shift, things change,’ she said. ‘Time is always evolving.’
Lexi, who was speaking at the launch of her new collection with Hanky Panky, said when she was with Brooklyn they ‘didn’t really hang out with either of our parents’.
‘We were really just hanging out with our siblings and having the best time,’ she continued. ‘But all I know is that the Beckhams did raise such amazing kids with such amazing morals and values that whatever is going on, I just know they did exactly the best thing.’
Lexi – who was linked to rapper Drake and also dated Presley Gerber and her Summer House castmate Jesse Solomon on the set of season nine – previously praised Victoria and David during an interview on The Viall Files podcast.

‘And I think that that’s so beautiful. So I think as I get older, I really understand. I think it also has to do with confidence.
‘I’m more confident in who I am, therefore I’m able to kind of share who I am and know that someone will connect to that and I love that.’
