The National Television Awards are billed as one of the most glamorous nights in British television – but not everyone lived up to the hype on this year’s red carpet.
Stars flocked to London for the annual ceremony, with Joel Dommett back to front the awards.
Since launching in 1995, the NTAs have stood out for being decided entirely by the viewing public rather than industry insiders.
But while some attendees oozed elegance in dazzling designer gowns and sharp tailoring, a handful of big names made questionable style choices.
Tasha Ghouri landed on the night’s worst-dressed list as she raised eyebrows with her racy look.
The Love Island star left little to the imagination as she exposed her underwear in a sheer black corset dress with a tulle skirt.

Meanwhile, Olivia Hawkins also missed the mark, stepping out in a strapless baby pink gown complete with tacky jewels on the back of the corset

Brooke Vincent, usually known for her glam style, kept things low-key in a grey suit, cinched at the waist with a black leather scarf

While the simple ensemble was inoffensive it was slightly drab for the glitzy occasion.
Anna Williamson donned a frumpy white shirt teamed with baggy black wide-leg trousers, while Anna Whitehouse opted for a quirky number in a one-shoulder purple gown with satin flowers.
Christiaan de Vries turned heads in a bright pink blazer and shorts combo, accessorised with baffling black leather leg bands.
Natalie Casey looked more suited for Saint-Tropez than a London awards night in a satin salmon-pink dress layered under an overly bold vintage jacket.
She paired it with chunky baby pink platform heels and shielded her eyes from the rain with metal-frame sunglasses, cementing her status as one of the evening’s more questionable style choices.

The red carpet arrivals are being hosted by Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks for the second year in a row.
At the awards, the best of TV will be honoured by the British public, who have been voting for their favourite shows and talent.
This is a milestone year for the NTAs, which are celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Described as a ‘celebration of the nation’s most loved stars and shows’, people have had the opportunity to vote via post, telephone, and online.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly are widely expected to win the TV Presenter award for the 24th year in a row.
But last year, on their 23rd consecutive win, the Geordie due admitted that they ‘know one year we’re not going to win it.’
Competition this year is fierce and they are up against Claudia Winkleman, Gary Lineker, Alison Hammond and Stacey Solomon.
This is not the only award of note for Ant and Dec, as their ITV series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is also up for the best Reality TV award.

Once again, the category is full of fierce competition and the long-running jungle show is up against Love Island, Race Across the World and the increasingly popular The Traitors.
The past year has been a monumental one for TV dramas and a standout hit was Netflix’s Adolescence.
IndieWire praised Owen Cooper’s performance as child killer Jamie Miller as ‘enraging, emotional, horrifying, and heartbreaking in equal measure’.
It will face off against other hit shows including Code of Silence, Ludwig, MobLand and Rivals in the Best Drama category.
And with the UK so well-known for its many soap operas, the Best Serial Drama is also set to be one of the fiercest competitions of the night.
Shows including Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been enjoying record numbers of viewers after being placed on ITVX in October.
This allowed fans to tune into their favourites at a time that best suited them rather than having to wait to watch them live on TV and could give them the edge over other nominees Casualty, EastEnders and Hollyoaks.
Also being recognised, and for the last time, is Gavin & Stacey, which aired its long-awaited final episode on Christmas 2024.
It is up against Brassic, Michael McIntyre’s 25th Year Stand-Up Special and Mrs Brown’s Boys in the comedy category.
The awards, which are being broadcast live on ITV2, will be dished out between entertainment performances until half 10.
