A WOMAN has allegedly been sexually assaulted on a bus travelling between a busy UK racecourse and a train station.
The attack is alleged to have occurred on a First bus in York on Wednesday, August 20.
Cops said a man, travelling on the bus with a group of four or five other men, sexually assaulted the woman.
Officers launched an investigation into the horror incident after it was reported.
They are now asking anyone who was travelling from York races to York train station at around 7pm who may have witnessed the incident to contact the police.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police who believe as he may have information that will assist their investigation.
