Harry Styles‘s female companions have made headlines for as long as he’s been in the spotlight, and his latest date for an NYC wedding this week was no different.
The singer, 31, sent fans into a frenzy when he appeared in a snap alongside Real Housewives favourite Carole Radziwill at Charles Porch and Robert Denning’s nuptials, walking up the stairs with their arms intertwined.
Given Harry had previously linked to actress Zoe Kravitz last month, this pairing came as a surprise, with beauty mogul Cassandra Grey sharing that he’d offered his arm to Carole as she struggled to walk up the stairs in her voluminous dress.
Carole, 62, may be little-known to some of Harry’s British fans, but Stateside she was a longtime star of The Real Housewives of New York City, before leaving the show to return to her other passion: journalism.
Prior to this, she was a respected name in American news, working as a producer for ABC for two decades, a large portion of which was spent stationed in Iraq covering the Gulf War.
Carole, who is now single, has also suffered personal tragedy, with her husband Anthony, a socialite and producer, dying in 1999 after a battle with cancer.

The broadcaster has long been a respected name in US News, and worked for ABC for two decades, covering conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan

Carole joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York in 2012, but left the show in 2018 amid claims she fell out with producer Andy Cohen
Starting her journalism career in the 1980s, Carole began working as an intern on the magazine show 20/20, before moving onto work for Peter Jennings’s documentary unit, producing shows on abortion and gun control.
After spending time covering the Gulf conflict, she also spent six weeks in Afghanistan in 2003, and won many plaudits for her reporting, including three Emmys for her work on a film about land mines in Cambodia.
Carole also found love in the ABC newsroom, as she tied the knot with producer Anthony, the son of Prince Stanislas Radziwill and the nephew of Jacqueline Kennedy, in 1994.
Sadly, Anthony died four years later after a battle with sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, and Carole stepped down from ABC News in 2003 to focus on writing her memoir What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love.
In 2017, Carole shared insight into her spouse’s battle with the disease during an appearance on the Shared Secrets podcast, admitting that he was first diagnosed before they were married.
She said: ‘[Cancer] was seen as a death sentence. So it’s not something that you wanted to talk about.
‘No one would talk about it openly, even though there was many, many, many treatments and there were a lot of cures also for different cancers. But still it was that lingering thing, like, ”Oh, you have cancer.” And it was always said with a whisper. Still, even today it is, which is just interesting. That became our secret.’
The time of Anthony’s death proved even more difficult for Carole, as just three weeks before, her close friend Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and her husband, John Kennedy, Jr., died in a plane crash.

Speaking about coping with the loss of her spouse, she added: ‘I didn’t want to appear to be in grief. I just thought people are gonna tolerate it for a month or two months or three months even, and they did.
‘There was a lot of calling and a lot of coming around and all that. But then everyone moves on with their life. I wasn’t moving on with my life, if I was being honest. It was six months and eight months, a year.
‘And I would go out and I would meet friends for dinner and stuff. And I remember, I would do my hair, put my makeup on, put on a great shoe, and be the life of the dinner for the hour or two I had to be out.
‘And people were happy. And I was like, ”OK, this is a secret.” It’s harder to grieve that way… There’s too many secrets around it, so it’s hard to get yourself out of that, what’s real and what’s not now. How am I supposed to be feeling?
‘Is it the smiley Carole with a good shoe and a nice outfit, or is it this other Carole I see at home where it’s still hard to get out of bed, and I still wake up in the morning, and I can’t believe I’ve got to fill another day, and I don’t know what I’m doing, and I left my job. It’s hard. Secrets, they’re hard to keep, and they’re hard to sustain.’
While appearing on The Real Housewives, Carole had also shared her concerns about getting into a new relationship, telling Bethenny Frankel: ‘When you hold onto secrets for so long, it’s really hard to then open up to someone so completely and fully in the way that you need to in order to have healthy relationships moving forward.
‘There’s always this lack of trust or gnawing sense that you’re not being completely honest about who you are.’
Carole joined the cast of The Real Housewives for its fifth season in 2012, and given her respected news background, her debut came as a surprise to some.

Throughout her run, viewers saw her new relationship unfold, with chef Adam Kenworthy, who was more than 20 years her junior, but they split in 2017 after three years together

When she quit Real Housewives, she stated at the time she wanted to resume her passion for journalism
But like any other star of the show, Carole quickly found herself at the centre of the drama, with fans watching the crumbling of her friendship with close pal Bethenny.
Throughout her run, viewers saw her new relationship unfold, with chef Adam Kenworthy, who was more than 20 years her junior, but they split in 2017 after three years together.
She told The Mountains Media: ‘I like to say, ”I grew up, but I never got old.” So when I met Adam, our curiosity level was the same and I was open to learning new things as I always am.
‘And being so much younger, he taught me things about different kinds of music, for example. I love that he used to come to my house on his bike or his skateboard and we’d skateboard around the city. To me, that was a blessing. And that relationship lasted a long time.’
Carole sensationally quit The Real Housewives in 2018 after five seasons, after she was involved in a public falling-out with producer Andy Cohen.
In a statement at the time, Carole insisted she wanted to return to her passion for journalism, writing: ‘I have decided to return to what I do best – journalism and producing.
‘I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind.
‘My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament… I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy.’
Carole then revealed that she had persistent on-set issues that eventually forced her off the show, and she accused bosses of giving some stars preferential treatment.
During the reunion for The Real Housewives’ tenth season, viewers saw Carole clash with Andy, after she claimed he was ‘full of s**t’ for saying she and Bethenny ‘bashed each other’ all season.
She later defended her stance on X after Andy claimed her behaviour was ‘Trumpian’, and just days later, she announced she would not return to the show.
Back in February, Carole unveiled her latest project, working as an investor in the Off-Broadway play, Curse of the Starving Class.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘I’ve had the opportunity to invest [and] support [The New Group NYC] in this thought-provoking play, written by Sam Shepard in the ’70s and still is relevant today.
‘The play originally premiered Off-Broadway in 1978. This revival features the incredibly talented Calista Flockhart, Christian Slater, as well as newcomers Cooper Hoffman and Stella Marcus.’

While she is currently single, Carole admitted she’s finding it ‘fun’ dating again
While she is currently single, Carole admitted she’s finding it ‘fun’ dating again, telling US Weekly: ‘It was fun, but it just got better and better and better. And now it’s, like, rocking! It’s just so fun.’
‘I don’t want to say to only date younger guys, but there’s something that [is different].’
‘I can tell you from my own experience, it’s the confidence,’ Carole continued. ‘When you’ve done it – you’ve been through it, you’ve had marriages, and heartache, and joy, and triumphs, and success, and experience – you bring all that to the table and it’s fantastic.’
Harry and Carole sent fans into a frenzy when they appeared arm-in-arm while attending their pal’s NYC wedding.
In a photo, the pair could be seen walking up the stairs with their arms interlocked.
Fans quickly took to social media to share their reactions to seeing Styles with the Real Housewives of New York City alum out in the wild.
Grey said that Radziwill was ‘struggling’ to climb the stairs in her voluminous dress when the Watermelon Sugar hitmaker – who is rumored to be dating Zoe Kravitz – offered his help.
‘Then a stranger to Carole and I, a handsome @harrystyles, seemingly out of nowhere, graciously lent her his arm like Cinderella’s prince,’ she wrote in the caption of her post, which included various photos from the wedding.
Many fans reacted with fervor as the reality star famously dates men who are younger than her and Styles has a tendency to date older women.
Most recently, however, Styles has been linked to Zoe after they were spotted on a romantic outing together in Rome, promptly sparking romance rumours.
