A MAN who was sexually assaulted by an ex-Miss UK model while celebrating beating cancer has claimed she would have been jailed if she was a man.
Samantha Williamson, 44, “acted like a woman possessed” as she staggered over to the diner at the Captain’s Club Hotel & Spa, in Christchurch, Dorset.
The mum-of-two scrambled on to the victim’s lap as he enjoyed his celebratory meal and told him: “I want to sit on your big bamboo”.
The victim was left so stunned by the exchange that the man shoved her off with his wife telling Williamson to “f*** off”.
But Williamson then swiped the drinks and a candle off the table – spilling all over his wife.
The victim then shoved Williamson – causing them both to fall to the ground – before she spat and scratched at him.
Former beauty queen Williamson has now pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault but avoided a jail sentence.
She was instead handed a six-month community order with a tag-monitored curfew between 8pm and 6am and ordered to pay £1,000 compensation.
Now, the victim of the sexual assault is reportedly considering a private prosecution after the sentence.
The furious victim claims she was let off with a more lenient punishment than a man would have been given, reports the Daily Mail.
The victim, who had just beaten cancer, told the outlet: “One hundred per cent it does feel like a violation. I didn’t ask for it – sexual or non-sexual.
“I said it in court and I will repeat it here. If I thrust my groin in a woman’s face, or tried to, I’d have spent the next two nights in the cells before being hauled to court on the Monday morning.
“But on that night the police drove her home. What police force does that?
“That woman should 100 per cent be on the sex [offender] register – as I believe I would be if I’d done it.
“While I’m glad it came to court, I think she got off very lightly. A man would not have walked out of court if he’d done what she did.”
He also spoke about how he and his wife were left “traumatised” with the night supposed to be one of celebration after he beat cancer.
The devastated victim said that Williamson had “ruined it” and revealed how he “burst into tears” talking to the prosecution in court.
He described Williamson as acting like something out of the Exorcist during the scuffle as he desperately tried to protect his jaw which was weakened from cancer treatment.
Williamson is a former beauty queen who won Face Of The Year in 1998 which launched her modelling career.
She took part in 2003 Miss Europe pageant representing the UK.
Although the crown was taken by Miss Hungary, Williamson continued to pursue her modelling dreams.
But her life started to spiral and her most recent relationship was with Bournemouth-based window fitter with a string of criminal convictions dating back 18 years.
The court was told the victim and his wife had spent £1,200 on a weekend trip to the coast on June 15.
They were celebrating the victim’s cancer news and their 40th anniversary when they noticed Williamson at the bar.
‘TRAUMATISING’
The couple offered to help her and call a taxi, which she refused, after she began rowing at the bar and verbally abusing diners.
Victoria Hill, prosecuting, said: “She sat on his lap, pushing herself onto him and said ‘I want to sit on your big bamboo’. He immediately pushed her away.
“He hadn’t previously met her and certainly didn’t want her sitting on his lap. She began pointing and being abusive.”
In a victim impact statement, the man said the sex assault was “very traumatising for myself and my wife.”
He added: “We went for a nice break and what happened we will never forget and still talk about it today.
“I don’t understand how offering a lady some help could go so wrong. Getting covered in drink and broken glass was not how we expected our night to end.
“I had received the all-clear for my cancer and thought it was a great way to celebrate my news and 40 years together. Instead we were met with a drunk, aggressive, very vicious young lady through no fault of our own.
“Our time there was very expensive and we will never go back to that area again because it would be very traumatic.”
James Moore, defending, said Williamson felt “pure regret” and “embarrassment”.
He said she had got very drunk when her partner said they were going to relocate and she did not handle the news well.
Speaking after the hearing, the victim said he is considering a private prosecution over the physical assault, which left him bleeding.
