Flights from London Stansted to Lübeck and Trapani will commence on October 27, with four three weekly flights to Lübeck and two weekly flights to Trapani.

Next, flights from London Stansted to Münster will launch on November 3, operating three times a week.

A day later, flights between London Stansted and Murcia will start, with four flights each week.

And then finally, the London Luton to Wroclaw route will begin on December 5, operating four times a week.

The destinations are a mix of city spots and European islands.

For example, Trapani is located on the island of Sicily in Italy and is home to ancient salt pans, a quaint old town and lots of pedestrianised streets.

Tourists can explore the historic old town with Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture, such as the 17th-century Torre di Ligny, a coastal watchtower now home to an archeological museum.

You can also hop on a ferry from the port city to Egadi Islands, which boast golden, soft-sand beaches and crystal clear waters.

Or if you fancy a city break, you could head to Murcia in Spain, set slightly back from the coast.

The Spanish city is known for its stunning architecture, with sprawling plazas.

One top spot to explore is Murcia Cathedral, which stands in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga.

Combining Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, the 14th-century cathedral has the second tallest bell tower in Spain, which took over 200 years to build.

Other pretty plazas include Plaza de las Flores, a popular tapas spot with locals, which has many pedestrianised streets leading off of it to a number of other squares.

Located around four and a half hours apart, Lübeck and Münster are two lesser-known cities in Germany.

Known as the ‘Queen of the Hanseatic League’, head to Lübeck if you love history and maritime heritage.

In the city centre, the entire medieval old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, littered with Gothic, brick architecture and surround by the Trave River.

On the other hand, keen cyclists should head to Münster.

Known for its vibrant cycling culture, Münster is home to more bikes than people thanks to it being the city’s primary mode of transport.

Head along The Promenade to follow the route of the city’s old walls, which is only open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Alternatively, you could head to Wrocław in western Poland, which uniquely is home to hundreds of small bronze dwarf statues.

Known as the ‘city of 100 bridges’, Wrocław’s city centre is sprawled across several small islands on the Oder River, meaning that over 130 bridges connect the different parts of the city.

Ryanair’s new additions mean that the airline now connects London Stansted to more European destinations than London Heathrow.

The airline also expects to carry 60million passengers throughout 2025, making it the biggest passenger airline in the UK.
