In the clip, Katie showed what her hair looked like back in April, and a large bald patch at the centre of her scalp was clearly visible.

She said: “I cannot get over it, that was in April.”

But now, her hair was finally growing and the bald patch had completely vanished with new hair growing from it.

“Look at my scalp, look at that, honestly. See the difference in my scalp,” she said.

Katie revealed that she had started using a hair growth serum, which had transformed her locks.

She used the Glow For It Hair Growth Serum daily to promote new growth.

“I consistently use this on a daily basis and I have done since April,” she explained.

“Because it’s water-based not oil-based I can use this on a daily basis, just after I come out of my shower.”

The serum has a water base that absorbs quickly without causing any greasy residue, making it perfect for daily use.

She also used a scalp massager to promote blood circulation to the area, helping hair follicles to grow.

The serum contains peptides, caffeine and rosemary oil to promote new growth.

Even Katie was stunned by just how quickly the serum had got to work.

The product costs £29.99 and Katie said it lasts her two months making daily use cost just 50p.

The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @whatkatie.didnext with over 470k views and 1.7k likes.

Scalp Care Tips For Summer

Dry, brittle hair, sunburnt scalps, and dull, dehydrated skin are common after summer holidays, yet entirely preventable. Just like your skin, your hair and scalp deserve care before, during, and after sun exposure. Here’s how to keep them healthy and radiant all summer long.

Why Protect Your Hair & Scalp?

UV rays weaken hair fibres, damage the scalp, and can even accelerate hair loss if you’re already experiencing thinning. Salt water, chlorine, and heat strip away moisture, leaving hair fragile and prone to breakage.

Pre-Holiday: Strengthen & Prep

Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. In the weeks before your trip, a non-invasive scalp treatment nourishes follicles, calms irritation, and builds resilience. Papilla by Kim Lim London, offers a relaxing therapy to summer-proof your hair.

On Holiday: Shield & Soothe

Be kind to your hair and scalp: avoid tight hairstyles, harsh brushing, and heat styling. Always rinse with fresh water after swimming to remove salt and chlorine. Stay hydrated, and protect with lightweight, moisturising serums to combat UV and environmental stress. When sun exposure is unavoidable, shield your scalp with a loose-fitting hat or scarf.

Post-Holiday: Repair & Revive

After your trip, soothe sun-stressed hair and scalp to prevent further damage. A scalp treatment can rebalance moisture, repair weakened follicles, and reverse UV and environmental effects, supporting healthy, strong regrowth, all without downtime.

Plenty of people took to the comments, eager to try it for themselves after seeing Katie’s transformation.

One person wrote: “Oh wow! I’m losing so much hair and my hair is thinning, it’s awful. I’m taking all the supplements but nothing is helping. I might need to try this.”

Another commented: “This is absolutely SENSATIONAL.”

“I need this for my postpartum hair,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “I’ve never purchased something so fast.”

“I don’t even have hair loss really, but consider me influenced,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Omg that’s amazing!!”
